Sensor / Data Fusion Software Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced data fusion algorithms and adapt existing software for embedded platforms
• Optimise software for specific hardware platforms and performance requirements
• Design and implement software testing strategies, including automated testing approaches
• Develop and maintain software solutions within a Linux environment
• Work with modern development tools including Git, Atlassian tools, CMake, and CI/CD build pipelines
• Contribute to agile software development processes through Scrum planning and implementation
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality and safety standards
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across locations

Your profile

• Successfully completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable technical discipline
• Several years of professional experience in software development
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Rust
• Experience implementing and optimising algorithms, ideally within the field of data fusion
• Strong experience with Linux, Git, build pipelines, unit testing, test automation, and ideally containerisation technologies
• Strong mathematical and analytical foundation
• Experience developing software for embedded systems, particularly Xilinx platforms , is highly desirable
• Experience with GPU programming and NVIDIA Jetson platforms is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, international engineering environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, independent working style, and a passion for innovation
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
