Service Desk Analyst / IT Support

Position Overview

My client, a Global Automotive firm, is currently seeking a Service Desk Analyst with experience in troubleshooting Windows environments for a 6 month rolling project, focusing on the support of a global infrastructure. Some remote work may be offered, but the client does require on-site presence also. The role is freelance, with an hourly rate in the region of €40‑45+. It starts ASAP and ideally requires commuting to or working in Cologne, with remote options potentially available after an on-site period.

Key Competencies and Qualifications

• Logging, prioritizing, updating and resolving tickets to meet SLA's
• Provide out of hours support
• Purchasing, installation and support of all computers and printers
• Installation, support and update of all standard tested software
• Creating, managing and updating users and access groups in Microsoft Active Directory environment
• Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 7 support
• Knowledge of Windows system management software (e.g., Microsoft SCCM)
• Good knowledge of handling service requests and incidents via ticketing system
• Creating and managing users, distribution groups and shared mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
• Maintain all assets in the asset management system
• Hardware setup and disassembling
• Knowledge of mobile device management system
• Ideally, knowledge of German language would be a plus
