Senior Consultant / Manager – SAP Field Service Management & Field Service and Asset Management

The opportunity

IgniteSAP is supporting a leading international consulting organisation with the expansion of its SAP field-service capability in Germany.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Field Service Management professional with expertise in SAP FSM or its evolution into SAP Field Service and Asset Management.

You will help clients connect service planning, workforce scheduling, mobile execution and asset information within integrated SAP landscapes. The position offers the opportunity to deliver modern field-service transformation programmes for complex organisations with national and international operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyse field-service organisations, processes and technology landscapes.
• Design target processes that improve technician productivity, resource utilisation, service quality and customer experience.
• Configure and implement SAP Field Service Management or SAP Field Service and Asset Management.
• Deliver solutions covering workforce planning, scheduling, dispatching, skills, territories and technician availability.
• Implement service calls, activities, mobile workflows, smartforms and digital checklists.
• Design processes for time, material and expense reporting, customer communications and service completion.
• Support external workforce, subcontractor and crowd-service scenarios.
• Define field-service KPIs, analytics and operational reporting.
• Integrate SAP FSM/FSA with SAP S/4HANA Service, SAP EAM/PM, SAP Service Cloud and related enterprise applications.
• Lead discovery, requirements, solution-design and fit-to-standard workshops.
• Support configuration, integration, testing, training, deployment and hypercare.
• Help clients evaluate AI-assisted scheduling, automation and intelligent field-service capabilities.

At Manager level, you will also:

• Lead field-service transformation workstreams and project teams.
• Coordinate functional, technical and integration specialists.
• Manage senior stakeholders, delivery quality, risks and commercial objectives.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations and business development.
• Develop reusable solutions and support the growth of the SAP field-service practice.
• Coach less-experienced consultants.

Your profile

• At least three years of relevant experience for Senior Consultant level or approximately five years for Manager level.
• Practical implementation experience with SAP FSM, SAP FSA or the former Coresystems field-service solution.
• Strong knowledge of field-service planning, scheduling, dispatch and mobile execution.
• Experience configuring SAP field-service solutions and translating operational requirements into system designs.
• Knowledge of integration with SAP S/4HANA Service, SAP EAM/PM or SAP Service Cloud.
• Participation in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout or substantial optimisation programme.
• Experience with smartforms, business rules, mobile applications, APIs or SAP integration technologies would be advantageous.
• Project or workstream leadership experience is required for Manager-level applications.
• Very good German and English.
• Willingness to travel when required.
