For the workshop of our successful German sales company, we are looking for a Service Technician / Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for our Cologne location starting immediately.
What Excites You
- Performing service and repair work on our modern, high-precision surveying instruments
- Conducting periodic hardware and software maintenance of customer instruments
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and defining service measures
- Setting up operational equipment
- Providing technical input for customer quotations
- Repairing and checking demo devices and rental instruments
- Supporting spare parts inventory and service projects
- Providing technical support to partners and colleagues during service activities
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing goods inspections
What Defines You
- Vocational training as an electronics technician for devices and systems, radio and TV technician, office systems electronics technician, or electronics technician for information and telecommunication technology
- Several years of experience in a service environment is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong awareness of precision, care, and responsible handling of all equipment and facilities
- Strengths include manual dexterity, precise work, and a flair for electronics, optics, and mechanics
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and can remain calm in hectic situations
- You see technical problems as challenges rather than obstacles
- Fluent in German and basic English skills
