In this role you drive engineering projects for Light Rail Services, aligning design and operations with safety and reliability goals. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage studies, bids, and changes, while advancing cost efficiency and innovative R&D initiatives. You act as a design authority, oversee risk and obsolescence plans, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. • Manage Light Rail in Services projects and related vehicles
• Provide design authority for Light Rail Services
• Create technical development plans and engineering work breakdowns
• Lead engineering studies, bids, and project execution
• Implement modifications to improve reliability and serviceability
• Support cost reduction actions with Sourcing and Industrial teams
• Propose and implement innovative R&D programs and new technologies
• Oversee Product Safety management system and mitigate safety risks
• Capture and own relevant regulations and standards
• Interface with key project stakeholders
• Aim for QCD targets on projects

• University degree in Railway Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or Electrical Engineering
• First experience in Railways system/application engineering
• Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Structured and organised with a hands-on approach
• Customer focus and management skills
• Fluency in English and German
