Site Civil Engineer

Salary: up to €100,000 + housing and car allowance

Visa requirements: opportunities to relocate to Germany from most countries - company will cover all visa expenses.

Role Overview

• Carry out precise setting out for all civil, structural, and architectural elements of the project.
• Establish and maintain site control networks, benchmarks, and survey records.
• Verify dimensions, coordinates, and levels against design drawings and BIM models.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure accurate construction delivery.
• Produce and maintain as‑built surveys, reports, and quality documentation.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, health and safety standards, and programme requirements.

Key skills and qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in setting out on large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres or other mission-critical facilities.
• Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and relevant surveying software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, coordinate systems, and quality assurance procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
