Site Manager (Solar – PV) - Germany

The Role: What You Will Do

As a Site Manager, key responsibilities will include coordination of subcontractors and maintenance providers, incident management, operational reporting through SCADA, support with substations and MV lines, as well as ensuring compliance with HSE and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Contractor Management: Oversee plant operations and maintenance, coordinating both main and secondary service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficiency and continuity.
• On-Site Execution: Execute operational tasks in substations, medium-voltage lines, and transformers, supporting local operations alongside the main contractor.
• Daily Organization: Organize daily maintenance activities, manage personnel (work schedules, holidays), and manage resources (PPE, vehicles, minor payments).
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor facilities using SCADA systems, perform technical analysis, and prepare operation and maintenance reports to support decision-making.
• Incident & Emergency Response: Manage on-site incidents (including diagnosis and repair supervision) both during and outside working hours, acting as the primary point of contact for owners.
• QHSE & Compliance: Ensure strict subcontractor compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements regarding occupational safety, quality, waste management, and environmental monitoring.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Around 3–5 years of experience within the renewable energy sector in a similar Site Manager position (experience with PV assets is highly ideal).
• Education: An Engineering background/degree (Electrical Engineering is preferred, though not mandatory).
• Languages: Fluent German (C1 level) and strong English communication skills are required.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding of renewable operations and maintenance. Exposure to SCADA systems is beneficial but not essential.
• Flexibility: Full flexibility to travel between project sites as required.
