Site Quality & Compliance Manager (Germany) (m/f/d) – Onsite/Hybrid

What we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance professional who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative, pragmatic approach.

You will be someone who leads by example, builds trust across teams, and is motivated by working in an environment where quality, integrity, and continuous improvement are central to how we operate.

How you will support us

• Lead and oversee the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with global standards and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485 where applicable)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, compliance, and operational processes
• Act as the primary point of contact for audits (internal, customer, and third-party), ensuring successful outcomes
• Provide guidance and support to business functions on quality, compliance, and risk management topics
• Deliver training and coaching to embed quality tools and compliance awareness across the organisation
• Support new product introduction, process validation, and change management activities
• Coordinate supplier quality activities and audits as required
• Provide oversight and coordination of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) at site level, working with appointed safety specialists and ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders to ensure consistent application of systems and contribute to the ongoing development of global processes

Your background

• Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline (Master’s preferred)
• Significant experience (typically 8–12+ years) in Quality and/or Compliance roles within a regulated environment (e.g. life sciences, chemicals, engineering)
• Proven experience in a senior or site-level Quality / Compliance role
• Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, REACH, RoHS)
• Experience leading audits and maintaining certifications
• Strong understanding of risk management principles
• Familiarity with German OHS requirements and ability to coordinate relevant safety frameworks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills within a matrix organisation
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous
