Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you ensure stable, up-to-date sandbox environments that power Deel’s enterprise customers. You work in a distributed team, owning observability, incident response, and ongoing improvements to reliability. You collaborate with engineering and customer-facing teams to keep services resilient across time zones. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on operational excellence in a fast-growing, global company.

• Maintain reliability and uptime across enterprise sandbox environments
• Roll out updates to microservices inside sandboxes to stay aligned with latest versions
• Triage alerts, perform initial investigations, and escalate incidents with clear context
• Enhance observability using Datadog and Grafana stack (Mimir, Loki, Tempo) and improve alerting
• Participate in post-incident reviews and drive actionable follow-ups with relevant teams
• Communicate proactively during incidents, maintenance, and version upgrades
• Contribute to on-call rotation across APAC, EMEA and LATAM time zones

• 4+ years in SRE, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering
• Experience with Node.js or Go
• Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, S3, RDS)
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience including Helm and ArgoCD
• Experience with observability stacks: Datadog, Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Zabbix
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement
