Verantwortlichkeiten

• Selbstständige Leitung und kontinuierliche Optimierung aller Prozesse in den Bereichen Auftragsabwicklung, Versand und Distribution für den deutschen Markt.
• Sicherstellung einer termingerechten, vollständigen und kosteneffizienten Auftragsabwicklung in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Vertrieb, Kundenservice, Lieferkette, Lagerdienstleistern und Transportpartnern.
• Überwachung und Analyse von Leistungskennzahlen (z. B. OTIF, Service Level, Rückstandsquote, Transportkosten) sowie Umsetzung von Korrekturmaßnahmen zur nachhaltigen Verbesserung der operativen Leistung und Effizienz.
• Funktionale Koordination und Anleitung interner Stakeholder sowie externer Logistik- und Transportdienstleister ohne direkte Personalverantwortung. Leitung und aktive Mitwirkung an Initiativen zur Prozessverbesserung und Digitalisierung, die auf die Standardisierung, Automatisierung und Skalierung von Versand- und Distributionsprozessen abzielen.
• Funktion als zentraler Fachexperte für komplexe operative Fragestellungen, Eskalationen und die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von Standards und Prozessen im Auftragsmanagement und in der Distribution in Deutschland.
• Diese Rolle ist als befristete Position für einen Zeitraum von 18 Monaten vorgesehen.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and continuous optimization of all Order Management, Shipping, and Distribution processes for the German market.
• Ensuring timely, complete, and cost‑efficient order fulfillment in close collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Warehouse Service Providers, and Transportation Partners.
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (e.g., OTIF, Service Level, Backlog Rate, Transportation Costs) and implementing corrective actions to drive sustainable improvements in operational performance and efficiency.
• Functional coordination and guidance of internal stakeholders as well as external logistics and transportation providers, without direct people‑management responsibility.
• Leading and actively contributing to process‑improvement and digitalization initiatives aimed at standardizing, automating, and scaling shipping and distribution processes.
• Acting as the central subject‑matter expert for complex operational issues, escalations, and the continuous development of standards and processes within Order Management and Distribution in Germany.
• This role is intended as a temporary position for a period of 18 months.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische oder logistikbezogene Berufsausbildung (z. B. Industriekaufmann/-frau, Logistikfachkraft) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• 2–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Auftragsmanagement, Versand, Logistik, Distribution oder Supply‑Chain‑Operations, idealerweise in einem internationalen Produktions‑ oder FMCG‑Umfeld.
• Erfahrung in der Koordination von End‑to‑End‑Auftragsabwicklungsprozessen sowie in der Zusammenarbeit mit Vertrieb, Kundenservice, Planung, Lager und Transportpartnern.
• Gutes Verständnis für Prozessoptimierung, KPI‑Management und Maßnahmen zur Steigerung der operativen Effizienz.
• Erfahrung mit ERP‑Systemen (vorzugsweise SAP ERP oder SAP S/4HANA); Kenntnisse von Transport‑ oder Lagerverwaltungssystemen sind von Vorteil.
• Fähigkeit, operative Herausforderungen und Eskalationen strukturiert und lösungsorientiert zu bearbeiten.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Teamgeist, Zuverlässigkeit und eine proaktive Arbeitsweise.
• Sprachen: Deutsch und Englisch.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial or logistics‑related vocational training (e.g., Industrial Clerk, Logistics Specialist) or a comparable qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in Order Management, Shipping, Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain Operations, ideally in an international manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Experience coordinating end‑to‑end order fulfillment processes and collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse, and Transportation partners.
• Good understanding of process improvement, KPI management, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA); knowledge of Transport or Warehouse Management Systems is an asset.
• Ability to manage operational issues and escalations in a structured, solution‑oriented manner.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, reliability, and a proactive mindset.
• Languages: German and English.
