Software Architect (m/f/w)

As a Software Architect, you shape state-of-the-art software for challenging high-tech products. You collaborate across functions to design, implement, and optimize software for equipment used in medical, semiconductor, and analytical domains. You guide technical direction, mentoring teams and driving innovation with cutting-edge technologies. • Prepare offers and feasibility studies in collaboration with project and account managers and customers
• Collaborate with project managers to define project organization, estimate timelines, and identify risks with mitigations
• Lead architectural design and development of software systems meeting performance, quality, and reliability targets
• Develop and support deployment of training programs through coaching and supervising colleagues
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and development processes
• Stay current with industry trends and advanced technologies to drive innovation in projects and teams

• over 10 years of technical software development experience in various roles/environments
• proficiency in C++ and C# for multiple operating systems with real-time and state-machine aspects
• extensive experience with OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, and applying them to development processes
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues
• ability to work in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment with changing priorities
• excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• willingness to travel up to 10% worldwide
