the company is seeking an experienced Software Design Assurance Engineer (10+ years of experience) to drive software quality assessments and release readiness reviews for our mobile computing, machine vision, and embedded systems platforms.
In this highly cross‑functional role, you will perform quality audits, evaluate risks, and guide test methodologies—including stability and stress strategies—from product development through to customer pilot environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to act as a powerful customer advocate while ensuring our next‑generation technologies meet the highest performance and quality standards before going to market.
This role is a minimum of 3‑days per week on‑site in Zebra's Mississauga, Ontario, Canada office, 2 days remote.
Perform an analysis of SW Design Assurance for Embedded System Technology products and provide feedback for all the key Quality Metrics and deliverables executed by the functional teams, including:

$112,400.00 - $162,400.00 Annual
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 12% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
