Software Developer for the AWS Middleware Platform (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

Software Developer for AWS Middleware Platform (w/m/d)

What to Expect

With us, you’ll be part of a team that is currently transitioning from containerized Java services in ECS to modern, serverless AWS architectures. You’ll build new TypeScript Lambdas, modernize existing services, and work on core components such as our GraphQL API on Apollo Server.
We place particular importance on an open, trusting work environment characterized by transparency, mutual support, and genuine personal responsibility. To support your professional growth, we offer a variety of training opportunities and guidance from experienced colleagues. You can expect a modern work environment in Büdelsdorf and up to three days of remote work per week.
Sound good? Then we look forward to your application!

Your Responsibilities
  • Development of new serverless services in TypeScript on AWS within an agile team
  • Contribution to our GraphQL API (Apollo / Lambda) and further development of the central middleware interface
  • Analysis of existing Java code, targeted expansion and optimization of logic, and migration to TypeScript
  • Responsibility for operations, monitoring, quality, and stability of the services according to the “You build it, you run it” principle
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in the team, other IT units, and related departments
Your Profile
  • Several years of experience as a backend or cloud engineer with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Solid practical knowledge of AWS, particularly with Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS
  • Proficiency in working with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and automated testing; ideally, experience with Java and Spring Boot, Docker, and containerized applications
  • Ability to develop well-thought-out technical concepts and implement them pragmatically, with high quality, and independently through to production
  • You make technical decisions, defend them with sound reasoning, and remain open to other perspectives
