Software Engineer – Aerospace (m/f/d)

For its Aerospace Business Unit, PACE GmbH , part of TXT Group , is looking for a Software Engineer to join an international team working on safety-critical aerospace software systems.

Your contribution

• Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of safety-critical real-time embedded software
• Develop integrated applications and contribute to software and documentation reviews
• Design and document the software architecture and preliminary software design
• Write requirements in compliance with quality criteria, avoiding over- or under-specification
• Manage requirements changes, including impact analysis and requirements baseline definition
• Verify that subsystem, equipment, and component requirements are correctly and fully implemented

Required Skills

• Knowledge of IT systems and technologies
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles
• Strong knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
• Professional working proficiency in English

Considered a plus

• Knowledge of DOORS
• Knowledge of Python
• Good command of the German language

Education

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
