Software Engineer - Ground to Air HMI

In this role you will work on the Ground to Air HMI, building reliable, high-assurance software for air forces operating autonomous systems. You’ll contribute across backend and frontend, tackle distributed systems, real-time interfaces, and secure deployment in constrained environments. You’ll review code, ship features, and mentor peers, while presenting progress in weekly demos. You’ll join a mission-driven team balancing ethical and geopolitical considerations to advance robust defense tech.

• Review code contributions, RFCs and proposals
• Propose and implement new features, capabilities, or full products across the stack
• Mentor colleagues and support interviewing pipeline
• Share knowledge via tech talks and group learnings
• Maintain and improve the existing software stack (Rust, Python, TypeScript)
• Develop tests and benchmarks for robustness
