Software Fullstack Developer & Architect (d/f/m)

As a Software Fullstack Developer and Architect, you influence the design of scalable, secure software across frontend, backend and data layers. You will lead technical direction, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectures. This role sits at the intersection of defense-grade software and cutting-edge tooling, offering impact on high-stakes projects. • Create scalable and secure software architectures spanning frontend, backend and databases
• Develop UI and server-side logic, APIs and data stores; leverage AI-enabled SDLC tools
• Provide technical guidance; set coding standards and perform code reviews
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners and requirements engineers; document in Confluence
• Model software requirements using Cameo Modelling or similar tools
• Design high-level architectures; define components, modules and interfaces
• Select technologies, frameworks and patterns (e.g., microservices, REST APIs)
• Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders, developers and testers
• Identify technical risks in design or implementation; log in Jira for tracking
• Collaborate with Verification, Validation and Testing teams to ensure testable requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as Software Architect or similar role; agile or systems engineering environments
• Strong background in designing and implementing complex software systems (microservices, cloud-based, enterprise)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum and SAFe beneficial)
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation; ability to inspire team
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands; high-pressure environment
• Strong communication for reporting and stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of defense industry standards and practices; defence or automotive background preferred
