Software Test Engineer – Secure Communications

• You will work in an agile, distributed software development team on the latest generation of Software Defined Radios
• You will create and execute test cases for the code of the development platforms
• To meet customer requirements, you will test the code against the requirements and work on automating tests and test pipelines
• In addition to designing and creating test cases, documenting them is also an essential part

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a comparable qualification
• Advanced skills in embedded software development with C/C++, as well as Python and (embedded) Linux
• Knowledge of test management (test methods, test/integration strategies, test design techniques)
• Experience with configuration management systems (e.g. Git)
• Desirable: experience with operating systems (especially networking) and hardware knowledge (HiL systems, signal analysis)
• Experience in safety/security environments and knowledge of CMake desirable
• Very good spoken and written German is required for effective communication within the project environment and with our German-speaking customers.
