Softwareentwickler Field Operations Engineer ST22 (m/w/d)

In this role you contribute to the development of vehicle-logic software for training simulators and support integration, testing and deployment on customer sites. You work closely with cross-functional teams to evolve software for training systems and ensure stable operation. The position offers opportunities to shape simulator software for military land vehicles and hardware I/O integration in international contexts. You will engage in hands-on development, deployment and commissioning to drive reliable training environments.

• Entwicklung von Software für Fahrzeuglogik in Trainingssimulatoren
• Planung, Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Integrationsarbeiten (inhouse und beim Kunden)
• Weiterentwicklung und Neuentwicklung bestehender Software für Fahrzeuglogiken
• Anbindung von Hardwarekomponenten-I/O an die Simulationssoftware
• Integration der Software und Inbetriebnahme von Trainingssimulatoren am Kundenstandort
• Durchführung von Tests und Anpassungen zur Systemstabilitätserhöhung

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Kenntnisse in Softwaretechnologien (Objektorientierung, Modellierung, Tests)
• Sicherer Umgang mit C++ unter Einsatz von Qt, Boost, STL
• Erfahrung mit Game Engines (DirectX, Vulkan, Unreal, Unity)
• Erfahrung mit CAN, CANOpen
• Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Reisebereitschaft
• Ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit, Selbstständigkeit und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
• Kenntnisse in Deployment-Techniken, Inbetriebnahme und Software-Tests an technischen Anlagen
