Project Engineer – Renewable Energy (Solar & Storage)

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, international team where your work will directly contribute to delivering large‑scale clean energy projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the technical delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects from design through to operation
• Identify optimal technical solutions for project implementation
• Carry out technical and economic feasibility studies, including risk assessments (PV + BESS)
• Plan grid connections, including cable routing and infrastructure design
• Support and initiate permitting and approval processes
• Prepare building applications in collaboration with external engineering and planning partners

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in utility-scale solar PV project design
• Strong understanding of grid connection and infrastructure design
• Experience working on raw land solar developments
• Confident in technical and commercial project evaluation
• Software experience: AutoCAD, Excel, QGIS and/or PVsyst
• Strong communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal)
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive environments
