Information-Architect
A Snapshot of Your Day
Do you want to shape how a global manufacturing network thinks about data, AI, and the cloud? As a Solution Architect (f/m/d) Cloud & AI, you will work within the Process Digitalization unit and design end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Azure and Snowflake that power production, sales, and finance domains alike. Also, you will lead the implementation of AI-driven workflows, e.g. integrating Azure OpenAI, building ML pipelines, and modernizing legacy systems, while also guiding executive leadership on strategic priorities. Every day, you’ll balance ambitious architectural thinking with the satisfaction of shipping real, scalable solutions that move the organization toward a truly cloud-native future.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Designing scalable, secure Azure and Snowflake architectures by translating complex requirements from the global manufacturing network into future-proof cloud solutions
- Leading hands-on implementation of cloud and ML solutions by integrating Azure OpenAI into live data workflows and deploying robust CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
- Driving modernization of legacy systems and automating data flows across production, sales, and finance domains to support a leaner, cloud-native organization
- Acting as a senior thought leader and sparring partner for Azure-based applications, owning the documentation and scaling of architectural designs across the organization
- Communicating architectural strategies and project outcomes clearly to both executive leadership and technical teams, bridging vision and delivery with confidence
What You Bring
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Cloud Engineering, or a related field, paired with many years of experience in cloud architecture
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure and Snowflake including AI/ML integration, Python, SQL, and API development with a proven track record of delivering production-grade solutions
- Strong strategic planning and influencing skills: you’re as comfortable shaping a multi-year architecture roadmap as you are aligning stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), generative AI services, and cloud-based modernization of enterprise systems
- You are business fluent in English; fluency in German is a strong plus
