For our renowned client in the maritime defense industry, we are looking for a qualified Solution Architect IPS – Marine Systems & SAP (m/w/d) in Hamburg at the earliest possible date.
You have completed your studies or hold a comparable qualification, have several years of experience with IT architectures, SAP or SASPF, and integrated product support in a military environment, and you are familiar with relevant IPS standards such as ASD S3000L, S2000M and S1000D.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, analyze and optimize IT architectures to ensure the sustainment and operational readiness of complex weapon systems
- Develop and implement IT solutions for Integrated Product Support processes such as LSA, LCC, spare‑parts management and maintenance planning
- Integrate the requirements of standards ASD S3000L, ASD S2000M, ASD S1000D and MIL‑STD‑1388 into corporate IT systems
- Continue the development of existing SAP and SASPF‑based system landscapes
- Analyze and optimize existing processes, systems and data flows with regard to the readiness of platform and weapon systems
Qualifications
- Hold a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or Business Administration with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Or possess a comparable qualification
- Have several years of experience designing and operating IPS‑relevant IT architectures in a military environment
- Have practical experience with SAP, SASPF or comparable SAP‑based systems
- Have strong knowledge in Integrated Product Support and IPS analyses and related data processes
- Know the standards ASD S3000L, ASD S2000M, ASD S1000D and MIL‑STD‑1388 and have applied them in IT projects
- Have experience in a military environment, especially with weapons, ship or submarine technology
- Have experience in technically complex projects
- Be proficient in common MS‑Office applications
- Have secure English language skills in speaking and writing, ideally at a negotiating level
