Solution Engineer – Data & AI

Responsibilities

• You design integration projects for our clients and introduce innovative solutions into complex enterprise architectures.
• Developing future‑proof API strategies in demanding integration scenarios is one of your strengths.
• Requirements analysis, designing scalable solutions, and implementing high‑performance integration and process architectures are part of your responsibilities.
• You drive business process optimization together with business units and IT teams of our clients.
• You implement AI‑driven end‑to‑end processes, thereby setting new standards for intelligent automation.
• Creating guidelines and best practices for sustainable and innovative solution approaches rounds out your responsibilities.
• As a trusted point of contact, you guide clients through all project phases and ensure smooth implementation.

Requirements

• A completed degree, for example in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
• At least five years' experience in IT consulting and integration projects, ideally with a focus on Enterprise Application Integration.
• Very good knowledge of integration solutions such as MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or comparable EAI tools (e.g., webMethods, TIBCO).
• Experience integrating AI services (LLMs, ML models) and a solid understanding of modern AI architecture patterns such as AI‑as‑a‑Service, agent‑based architectures, or MCP.
• Integration knowledge of common ERP, CRM, PIM, and/or other systems.
• A MuleSoft certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of Java and solid expertise in RESTful API design.
• Additional experience with interface technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, and with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Independent working style combined with team spirit and strong communication skills.
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
