Solution Engineer – Microsoft Azure

Employment Type: Contract for 6-month with extension possibility

We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Solution Engineer to drive Microsoft Azure adoption across the Non-Profit and Education sectors . This role combines technical expertise with customer engagement, helping organizations overcome technical challenges and implement best-in-class Azure solutions.

What You’ll Do

Architect, optimize, and automate AVD environments following Microsoft best practices.
Focus on cost efficiency , security , and scalability .
Implement automation using tools like Terraform and Hydra .
Hands-On Technical Delivery
Work directly in customer Azure environments, demonstrating best practices.
Provide guidance on AVD , Azure security , and frameworks like WAF and CAF .
Identify and qualify opportunities within Non-Profit and Education customers.
Drive funded engagements, secure buy-in, and coordinate workshops.
Maintain accurate pipeline records and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales Specialists and account teams.
Gather feedback from stakeholders, share insights, and improve engagement strategies.

Key Initiatives

Recommend cost optimization and automation improvements.
Rollout Automation
Streamline onboarding and accelerate Citrix-to-AVD migration.
Security Best Practices
Enhance security posture using E5 capabilities , Microsoft Defender for Cloud , and Sentinel .
Provide actionable recommendations for continuous monitoring and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure .
Expertise in AVD , Azure security best practices , and automation tools.
Familiarity with Non-Profit/Education customer landscape is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent level of German and English is a must.
