Your Role

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to deploy the driveblocks off-road autonomy stack to target compute systems and vehicles. A core responsibility of this role is to apply, monitor, and benchmark the driveblocks software in customer and internal vehicle platforms to achieve maximum performance.

As a solution engineer, you are responsible for the full journey of our customers – from drafting the first technical concept to configuring, testing and deploying the software. You ensure that the driveblocks software meets the application requirements in an embedded, real time‑critical environment. You ensure high performance and quality through system simulations and software component testing on‑site under real‑world conditions.

Must-Have Qualifications

Hands‑on expertise in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or real‑time embedded systems, with strong coding skills in C and C++.
Experience with dockerized deployments and Linux‑based operating systems.
Strong analytical skills to quickly understand customer requirements, debug application software, and familiarize with new vehicle and deployment platforms.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment with complex technical challenges and requirements.
Strong team‑player and the ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and straight‑forward way to match customer and project expectations.
Willingness to travel on short notice to support customer pilots and deployments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Familiarity with ROS2, Apex.Grace, or micro‑ROS.
Familiarity with edge accelerators.
Experience with modern software engineering tools, including version control, continuous integration and testing as well as cloud‑based development processes.
Degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or related (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
