Solutions Engineer – Pre-Sales

Company Overview

We’re currently partnering with a rapidly growing Scientific SaaS company that has recently secured $25M+ in Series A funding and is transforming how R&D teams manage data, experimentation, and product development across industries including chemicals, materials science, and manufacturing.

What they're looking for:

Advanced degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Client-facing experience (Pre‑Sales, Consulting, Solutions Engineering, Digital Transformation, etc.).

Scripting experience (Python or similar).

Strong communication skills and an interest in solving complex technical challenges.

Travel: 25-50%.

Languages: German, French, Dutch, Italian or Spanish preferred. English-only speaking candidates will also be considered for the London office.

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with prospective customers, design and deliver tailored product demonstrations, solve technical challenges, and help organisations modernise their R&D processes.

Experience & Qualifications

• Python Scripting experience
• Client-facing experience
• Experience working in a SaaS, software or digitalisation driven environment
• Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences or related discipline
