Requirements

What the job involves

• Timing: This internship will run from August 1 - October 31, 2026
• We are looking for a Solutions Engineering Intern to handle the "heavy lifting" associated with our expansion into new markets. This is a core utility role designed to address a capacity gap and accelerate our international and domestic scaling
• You will work alongside our senior engineering and product resources to front-load regulatory research and partner discovery that currently serves as a bottleneck
• By the end of your internship, you will have developed an Expansion Playbook and become a subject matter expert for our European expansion, with the potential to transition into a full-time Solutions Engineer role
• Technical Discovery: Conduct deep-dive research into B2B customer requirements to support our growing ecosystem
• Regulatory Scoping: Research messaging protocols and legal regulations for emergency services, specifically focusing on 112 in the EU (starting with France) and 999 in the UK
• Partner Ecosystems: Identify, vet, and create a cost-benefit analysis for potential SMS aggregation partners
• Demo Environment: Helping with manual testing of different demos in different scenarios such as different jurisdictions
• Building Tools: Support both B2B and Public Safety Government (PSG) teams by building AI-driven tools to reduce manual overhead in day-to-day operations
