Your Responsibilities

• Selection of suppliers and materials which will meet QCD requirements following purchasing policies and procedures, and optimization of price, delivery and terms through analysis, collaboration, and negotiation
• Timely clean launch, including purchase requisition coordination for samples, pre-series, and mass production parts, collection of documents from supplier for parts approval and problem solving
• Supplier management, including participation in supplier evaluation process, supplier communication and problem/root cause solving on behalf of company
• Product change notification and supplier production discontinuation management
• Monitoring of market trends and conditions to keep abreast with industry and technology trend
  

What We Are Looking For

• Successfully completed studies (e.g. automotive engineering)
• Over 5-year experience in in complex mechanical parts sourcing / contract in automotive business or equivalent capabilities
• Expertise in sourcing, contract and cost reduction activities
• Basic knowledge in production purchasing and procurement quality assurance activities
• Fluent in English and German languages (Japanese speaking preferable) and great cross-cultural communication skills
• Excellent tooling skills from planning to launching
• Strong technical skills on mechanical design/tooling design/tooling development
• Automotive quality assurance
• Knowledge of European OEM requirements
• Capacity planning and verification
• Strong in mathematics, logical thinking and use of Microsoft Office and SAP
• Professional interpersonal communication, collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills:
• continuous efforts to evaluate status in terms of purpose & target,
• quick & logical facts finding for R/C, catch important details
• attitude to find out what he can control,
• attitude to listen to others,
• continuous follow-up until problem solving.
• Strong sense of mission, high ethics, positive thinking, mental stamina
• Willingness to travel
