Specialist External Reporting (m/f/d)

In this role you support the preparation of the Group’s external financial reports and ensure IFRS-compliant disclosures. You translate complex accounting topics into clear notes, collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams, and help deliver audit-ready materials for topics like business combinations and provisions. You work within BASF Agricultural Solutions to uphold high-quality external reporting aligned with accounting policies. This is a strategic, transformation-oriented finance position in a global agri-business.

• Prepare external financial reports and ensure IFRS-compliant outputs
• Develop notes and disclosures and perform consistency checks with consolidated figures
• Review reporting content for alignment with accounting policies
• Apply group accounting policies and IFRS interpretations in external reporting
• Translate technical accounting topics into clear disclosures
• Prepare audit-ready materials for business combinations, impairments, provisions and equity-related topics
• Collaborate with external auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality reporting

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• At least 3 years in external reporting, audit or related areas, IFRS environment preferred
• Strong IFRS-based external financial reporting and end-to-end close experience
• Knowledge of group accounting policies, IFRS interpretations, and reporting tools
• Digital and AI-focused mindset for data-driven efficiency
• Excellent English, SAP ERP familiarity, disclosure tools, and MS Office
• Clear communication, analytical thinking, and cross-stakeholder collaboration
