Specialist Finance - Accounting (all genders)

For our Finance team, we are looking for a motivatedExpert Finance – Accounting Germany to take full ownership of end-to-end accounting, General Ledger (GL) closing, and financial reporting for our German entities/SPVs.

Your tasks will include:

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end accounting processes for German SPVs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Manage and oversee daily SPV invoice processing, including invoice verification, system booking, and clearing activities.
• Lead General Ledger closing activities for Germany, ensuring timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reporting for German entities and support the delivery of reliable financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor, analyze, and prepare recurringSG&Aexpense reports for German SPVs to support cost transparency and cost control.
• Support related-party transactions by reconciling balances and providing financial figures, analysis, and documentation, particularly for German SPV structures.
• Manage quarterlyShareholder Loan (SHL)processes, including interest calculation, verification, accrual booking, and preparation of corresponding reports.
• Ensure compliance with German statutory accounting requirements underHGBand support the preparation of local financial statements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve accounting issues, improve reporting quality, and maintain robust financial processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting workflows, controls, and reporting processes for the German business.

• Solid professional experience inaccounting,General Ledger closing, andfinancial reporting, preferably in a German corporate or SPV environment.
• Hands-on experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/quarter-end closing activities.
• Experience in handlingshareholder loans, intercompany, or related-party transactions is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing SG&A reports and other financial analyses.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently in a structured manner.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across finance and business functions.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a strong advantage.
