Job Description

The Specialist: IT Governance & Compliance is responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring and reporting on the systems and processes that support ICT governance, risk and compliance within the University. The role establishes and maintains the governance frameworks, policies and controls that ensure the University’s information and technology are managed responsibly, lawfully and in line with institutional strategy.

Requirements

Honours Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems with five (5) years of relevant experience and three (3) years on supervisory level. At least one certification in related field CISA, CISM, ITIL, and related certifications, Certifications in IT Governance and Risk (e.g., CGEIT, CRISC), modern compliance standards. 5 years of hands‑on experience supporting IT GRC and Audit-related.
