Specialist - Victim Identification (VID), AP Twins, EC3 Operations Unit, Europol Cybercrime Centre (EC3)

In this role you will support international operations tackling child sexual exploitation, focusing on victim identification and forensic analysis. You will work within EC3 Operations and AP Twins, contributing to cross-border investigations and innovative victim-identification solutions. You shape operational capabilities by training partners and advising investigators, while managing data-heavy cases and maintaining professional wellbeing when handling disturbing content. • Support international operations and investigations against child sexual exploitation
• Use and further develop approaches and tools for victim identification
• Develop activities with partners to combat transnational child sexual offenders
• Perform forensic examinations across devices and report findings
• Deliver training in computer-facilitated child sexual exploitation
• Establish and foster contacts with MS and Third Parties’ Liaison Officers
• Advise investigators on victim identification and investigations including within JITs
• Perform other duties within area of competence as assigned by line management

• Be a member of a competent authority within the meaning of Article 2(a) of the Europol Regulation
• Fulfil military service obligations if applicable
• Provide character references for suitability
• Be physically fit as specified in CEOS
• Prove thorough knowledge of at least one EU language and satisfactory knowledge of another language
• A university degree with at least three years completed, or equivalent professional training plus required experience
