Specialty Sales Manager

Drive identification and adoption of new procedures for the da Vinci surgical system
Partner with Clinical Sales, Capital Sales, and Key Accounts leadership and staff
Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders in General, Thoracic, Colorectal, and Bariatric procedures, with potential future focus in Head & Neck Surgery
Establish regional case observation sites and Epicenters
Conduct strategic market development activities, including MSA RIPs and blitz activities
Execute the Consolidation Pathway Methodology for Key Opinion Leaders
Select appropriate case observation sites
Conduct on-site and wet lab training
Bring value during the first series of cases and provide intra-operative and post-operative clinical value
Develop and lead advanced regional training programs
Serve as market intelligence liaison for marketing and training teams
Conduct hospital and practice executive presentations
Vet da Vinci Single-Site surgeon candidates for training feasibility within targeted geographies
Provide feedback to enhance representatives' ability to sell to specific specialties
Coordinate and run knowledge programs with support from AVP and CSDs

Requirements

Must live within or be willing to relocate to the Louisville, KY or Indianapolis, IN area
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and work in an environment of change
Proven ability to influence peers
Excellent communication skills across a broad organization with a variety of focuses
Excellent clinical selling skills and ability to quickly build credibility with a highly educated customer base
Track record of sales excellence
Management experience or management career track required
1+ years of management experience required
5+ years of medical device sales required
Overnight travel required: 2-3 days per week (40%-60%)
Bachelor's degree required
Thoracic or colorectal sales background preferred
May be required to show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19
Candidates may be subject to U.S. export control requirements, including an export license and/or Technology Control Plan
