Sr. App Growth Buyer (Future Media Buying Lead)

In this role you will build and scale Appiness' media buying capabilities for app growth, starting hands-on and evolving into leading a small elite team. You will work with the Head of Supply to expand SSP/DSP partnerships, optimize post-install value, and protect margins. The role centers on creating repeatable buying systems and scaling high-performance campaigns across multiple ecosystems. You will shape the future of our media buying capability within a global, collaborative environment that values ownership and impact.

• Expand the supply universe and manage campaigns across DSP ecosystems (AppLovin, ironSource, Unity, Liftoff, Moloco, InMobi, Mintegral, Chartboost, AdColony, Fyber, etc.)
• Own media buying and campaign management with focus on setup, bidding strategies, scaling logic, budget allocation, creative testing, post-install optimization, traffic quality, and margin protection
• Turn new supply into scalable performance by launching and optimizing campaigns, structuring tests, validating traffic quality, and building repeatable optimization logic
• Build and scale a small elite media buying team: establish processes, hire/onboard future buyers, and transfer knowledge
• Own MMP and post-install logic with tools like Adjust, AppsFlyer, or Singular; understand postbacks, event mapping, SKAN, cohort/LTV analysis, attribution, and fraud signals
• Understand and act across ecosystems: Meta, Google App Campaigns, TikTok, Apple Search Ads; think cross-channel across DSPs, SSPs, app networks, and premium inventory

• 5–7+ years in mobile performance marketing
• Strong hands-on media buying experience with deep campaign management
• Experience across DSPs and app networks
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to perform under pressure
• Commercially aware and hungry to build something
