Senior Associate Datacatalog Analyst (BC)

$150K + Bonus Manhattan, NY (Hybrid Model) Major Insurance Company 5–7+ years of professional experience, including 2–3+ years in a data governance function. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data cataloging/lineage concepts. Proven ability to translate business needs into governance policies, standards, and workflows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and experience working across business and technical teams.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Atlan, Unity Catalog or similar metadata management tools.
• Familiarity with data quality and observability tools (e.g., Anomalo).
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze and validate data lineage.
• Experience applying governance frameworks, glossary management, and stewardship processes.
• Working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Data platforms and relevant Data Management tools such as Databricks, Redshift, dbt, FiveTran, Streamlit etc.
