Position Overview

Product Engineer Cryo / Vacuum Systeme (m/w/d)

Location: Thiendorf, northern Dresden

FormFactor is a leading manufacturer of precision testing devices and test cards in the semiconductor industry. At our site in Thiendorf, we develop and fabricate wafer probers for a variety of applications. Our devices are used in research and development for precise electronic measurements on semiconductor wafers to ensure the quality and reliability of tested components.

Responsibilities

• Typical product cycles last about one year. During this time, you are responsible for technical customer communication, necessary new development and further development, as well as internal planning and construction up to customer acceptance.
• The role requires interdisciplinary collaboration with Engineering, Planning, Production, and Test.
• Support the sales group with the active marketing of the product family.
• Expand the network to international research and industrial associations, our customers, and technology partners.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a Diploma/MSc in Physics or a comparable field.
• Experience in vacuum and/or cryogenic technology is mandatory.
• Project manager experience combining technical knowledge and product understanding with a strong customer focus for application-oriented solutions.
• First experiences in product management are desirable.
• Strong command of English and German in speaking and writing.
• Empathetic, trustworthy personality with high communication skills, assertiveness and hands‑on mentality; a team player.
• Organizational talent, goal-oriented problem solving, flexibility and resilience; ready to travel internationally (once or twice a year).
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
