Sr. Vulnerability Researcher (Remote)

As a Security Researcher in CrowdStrike Intelligence, you contribute to the Advanced Research Team by conducting broad-spectrum security research, developing automated data collection and analysis tools, and publishing findings to advance threat intelligence. You collaborate across teams to reproduce vulnerabilities, craft PoCs, and provide technical insights for rapid ad-hoc needs. The role blends long-term research with practical, across-unit support, shaping our AI-native security platform. • Develop automated solutions for data collection and analysis at scale (e.g., vendor patch processing, exploit identification in large file sets)
• Perform vulnerability research across diverse targets and analyze vendor patches to identify vulnerabilities and create PoCs
• Reproduce emerging vulnerabilities, investigate root causes, and validate exploits
• Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to provide actionable technical information and satisfy unique collection requirements
• Publish research results on CrowdStrike blog or at conferences
• Support ad-hoc technical needs from other teams within CrowdStrike Intelligence

• 4+ years of information security experience
• Vulnerability research and exploit development experience
• Ability to leverage GenAI/LLMs to aid in software development and vulnerability research
• Reverse engineering experience
• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux internals
• Strong Python development experience
• Excellent problem-solving, creativity, and analytical skills
