Staff Data Scientist (all genders)

As Staff Data Scientist you will own and guide flagship ML initiatives end-to-end, shaping models that power key applications. You’ll set technical direction for the Data Science team and mentor others, expanding impact across domains from ranking to pricing and forecasting. You’ll partner with leadership to define the ML roadmap and champion AI across workflows, driving efficiency and smarter data solutions. • Own flagship ML initiatives end-to-end—architect, build, and ship production models with measurable impact
• Set technical direction and standards for modelling, experimentation, MLOps, and code quality
• Mentor data scientists, review designs and models, raise the team's craft
• Partner with leadership to shape the company-wide ML roadmap and identify high-value opportunities
• Champion AI across the team by integrating it into data science workflows and improving systems
• Communicate trade-offs and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist/ML practitioner with production-ready models
• Quantitative degree in ML, CS, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Deep expertise in statistics, predictive modelling, and machine learning with production-ready skills
• Hands-on experience with tree-based models (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost) on large-scale data
• Proven technical leadership: set direction, mentor, and elevate teams
• Proactive ownership mindset and ability to tackle hard problems end-to-end
• Clear communication skills for diverse audiences
• Genuine enthusiasm for applying AI in daily work and driving adoption
