Overview

As the foundational Electrical Engineer in Orbem’s Hardware Engineering team, you will shape electrical design for complex automation systems and establish best practices. You’ll elevate the electrical architecture, ensure compliance with global standards, and mentor the team while guiding long-term strategy. This role sits at the core of building scalable, safe, and high-performance systems for AI-powered biological insights. You will help create a framework from the ground up and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver impact.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Design and enhance electrical systems for complex automation, including wiring diagrams and distribution across subsystems
Ensure compliance with electrical standards in EU and US markets by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Own the electrical engineering framework from design to long-term strategy
Mentor junior engineers and stakeholders as a subject matter expert

Zentrale Anforderungen

Extensive experience in electrical engineering, specifically in the (food) automation industry
Proficient in creating/interpreting wiring diagrams and designing distribution boxes, motor control circuits and PLC systems (EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCad Electrical)
Experience with low and high voltage system design
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and ability to define guidelines and best practices
Collaborative mindset and proactive, result-driven attitude
Familiarity with electrical standards for EU and US markets (IEC 60204-1)
Experience with RF systems and MRI or food industry background (preferred)
