Overview

In this role you will validate analog-mixed-signal MCU devices on manufactured hardware, defining robust test concepts with cross-functional partners. You’ll set up measurement and test environments, apply AI-assisted tools for test development, and drive improvements in coverage and reusability. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to shaping verification strategies in a cutting-edge R&D setting. This position supports Infineon’s mission to enable decarbonization and digitalization through reliable, scalable testing and automation.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Validate analog-mixed-signal MCU devices on manufactured hardware by characterizing electrical behavior
Configure lab measurement hardware and software test environments for mixed-signal verification
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define reusable test concepts and automation, and drive technical alignment
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GPT/Copilot) for test development, documentation, and automate workflows
Review and improve characterization methodologies to enhance coverage, robustness, and reuse
Lead and mentor junior engineers and supervise students

Zentrale Anforderungen

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information and Communication Technology (or comparable)
Several years of professional experience in semiconductor test, characterization or product development/validation
Strong programming skills (C/C++, Python, MATLAB or similar) with focus on test/automation in lab environments
Hands-on expertise in electrical measurements and lab test setup for accurate, repeatable results
Experience with Git-based development, pull requests, and CI/CD
Comfort using LLM tools (GPT/Copilot) and building agentic automation flows is a plus
Nice to have: exposure to automotive communication protocols and related transceivers; basic lab debugging in physical layer and system
Fluent English; German beneficial but not mandatory
