Job Overview

The Advanced Technologies group in TE Connectivity’s Industrial Automation & Electrification Business Unit leads innovation and external partnerships.

Your tasks:

  • Lead core technology initiatives – project management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Industrial Application Focus Groups and key customers on emerging technologies and system architectures
  • Develop design concepts and build technology demonstrators – prepare advanced engineering projects
  • Drive collaboration with external institutes and universities; coordinate joint research, grants, and knowledge transfer
  • Author and publish technical content (white papers, articles) and represent the team at conferences and customer forums

Your ideal background:

  • 10+ years’ experience in product engineering and leading complex engineering projects
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical/Applied Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven innovation track record with multiple granted patents/intellectual property
  • Broad cross-disciplinary background (mechanical and electrical); deep expertise in either switching technology (relays, contactors, switches), connector solutions or sensors
  • Proficient in 3D CAD for mechanical components; strong experience with Creo

Salary

We are legally obliged to state the minimum salary for this position as stipulated in the collective agreement. This is currently €4763 gross per month (14 times per year, excluding shift allowances). A higher salary is possible depending on personal qualifications, education, and professional experience.
