Staff Product Manager (Enterprise Deployment Solutions)

• As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you’ll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain
• You will own the experience for your product as well as its roadmap and competitive positioning, and you will collaborate with company leadership on setting your product’s goals
• You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, with a strong ability to communicate needs, functionality, and details effectively both to external customers and internal stakeholders
• The teams and people you will be interacting with will be 100% remote and globally distributed, so strong and proactive communication is essential
• Product Managers are the bridge that connects R&D to GTM
• You are a facilitator who ensures the free flow of information across these teams and are expected to be technically proficient when representing our products to our customers
• As the Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions, you’ll own the Grafana Labs offerings that run outside our standard multi-tenant SaaS
• That includes Grafana Federal Cloud, for organizations that need FedRAMP-authorized observability: US federal agencies; state, local, and education (SLED) customers; and commercial companies that sell FedRAMP offerings of their own
• It also includes Grafana Cloud Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC), which delivers the full Grafana Cloud experience while the customer pays the infrastructure bill directly to their cloud provider, saving them significantly at scale
• Your mission is to make Grafana Labs the obvious choice for organizations that can’t use standard SaaS because of compliance, data, or cost-at-scale constraints
• Deployment choices change the product: features that are simple in standard SaaS can be hard, expensive, or impossible in a regulated or customer-owned environment
• You’ll be responsible for adapting existing Grafana Cloud capabilities to these environments, deciding which features come in, which wait, and which stay out, and occasionally building something specific to BYOC or Federal Cloud
• You’ll also help shape which deployment models we offer next
• Along the way, you’ll use AI tools daily to speed up research, analyze product signals, and develop positioning, applying strong judgment to the results
• As the Staff Product Manager for Enterprise Deployment Solutions, you will:
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Grafana Bring Your Own Cloud and Grafana Federal Cloud products, using product data and market research to balance customer value against engineering cost and technical constraints
• Own positioning, messaging, and differentiation for these products, including how they compare to regular Grafana Cloud, and partner with Product Marketing on launches, competitive analysis, enablement, and demand programs
• Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on buildouts for these environments, balancing customer timelines with engineering capacity
• Work directly with customers, prospects, and the field on strategic deals and brief partners, resellers, and analysts on our deployment options
• Partner with Security, Compliance, and Legal to work through product changes affecting our authorization or existing customer commitments
