Staff Software Engineer (Cloud Provider Team) (Fully Remote)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, backend APIs and services that integrate with cloud services, with a focus on IBM Cloud.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Partner teams to understand requirements and design interfaces that are intuitive and maintainable.
• Guide the evolution of Sysdig's managed service capabilities in cloud environments, specifically IBM Cloud.

Your Background

• Experience designing and building distributed backend systems and APIs, with data-heavy or high-throughput systems a plus.
• Experience with cloud fundamentals (compute, networking, identity, security) and ability to ramp quickly on IBM Cloud specifics.
• Experience with IAM and access patterns (OAuth/OIDC, JWT, RBAC/policy-based access); IBM Cloud IAM experience is a plus.
