Start Up Engineer CT

Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Start‑Up Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in semiconductor processes and a passion for engineering, with experience in equipment start‑up, process optimization, and troubleshooting. This role involves supporting the operational readiness of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and ensuring that all processes meet quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the start‑up and commissioning of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in the development and implementation of start‑up plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
• Conduct performance evaluations and technical assessments of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during the start‑up phase, applying root cause analysis techniques.
• Monitor process performance and contribute to process optimization efforts to enhance productivity and quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of start‑up processes, including reports on equipment performance, issues encountered, and resolutions.
• Provide training and support to junior engineers and operators on new equipment and processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment start‑up, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor processes, equipment, and industry standards.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem‑solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with relevant software tools.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job‑related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long‑term incentives as applicable.
