Your tasks

• Development and maintenance of strategic supplier relationships (manufacturers and distributors)
• Consolidation of the distributor and component manufacturer network at group level
• Identification of savings and optimization potentials through group-wide BOM and component analyses
• Negotiation of framework and project prices with manufacturers and distributors at group level
• Analysis of supply chains to reduce and anticipate global risk factors
• Implementation of the group-wide "China reduced" supply chain strategy
• Takeover of group-wide obsolescence management
• Translation of forecast figures into robust procurement strategies
• Creation and tracking of savings analyses
• Support of project teams in the selection of components in the context of development and modification projects

Your profile

• A degree in business administration and/or technology or a commercial/technical vocational training
• First experience in purchasing/procurement of electronic components and parts
• Initial knowledge of the global component markets (manufacturer/distributor landscape, market dynamics)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset and hands-on mentality
• Independent and structured way of working as well as enjoyment of working in a dynamic team
• Willingness to take occasional business trips
