Overview

In this role you will lead SPMT operations on demanding heavy transport projects across Europe. You ensure safe execution, coordinate on-site teams, and bridge project planning with field delivery. You work with one of the largest SPMT fleets, handling complex moves and ensuring compliance with plans and safety standards. You mentor operators, drive efficient execution, and contribute to planning improvements. This is a senior, hands-on role within a dynamic, international environment with meaningful impact on project outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Supervise all SPMT operations during loading, transport, and unloading
Lead on-site crews to ensure safe and efficient execution of transport plans
Coordinate assembly, configuration, and dismantling of SPMT systems and ancillary equipment
Monitor load behavior, route conditions, and operational risks
Ensure compliance with engineering plans, safety procedures, and project requirements
Coach and develop SPMT operators and provide technical guidance
Act as on-site point of contact for clients, engineers, and project management
Oversee inspection, maintenance, and readiness of equipment before and after operations
Contribute to planning discussions and improve execution methods and safety performance
Work on international projects with extended travel across Europe and beyond

Zentrale Anforderungen

Proven experience as SPMT Operator or in heavy transport operations
Experience in lead, senior operator, or supervisory role is an advantage
Strong technical understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, load distribution, and transport systems
Experience in complex transport projects in civil engineering, energy, offshore, oil & gas, or infrastructure
Strong safety leadership mindset with ability to enforce standards under pressure
Ability to coordinate multicultural teams in dynamic project environments
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel internationally and work on rotation-based projects
Valid passport and flexibility to work across different countries
Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on mentality and willingness to actively support operations
