Supply Chain Manager / Einkaufsleiter

Overview

In this role you drive procurement and logistics for substations, shaping sourcing strategies and ensuring compliant, cost-efficient supply chains. You will manage supplier relationships, contract execution, and risk, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets. The position offers impact in a growing energy solutions business and the chance to influence major project categories. You will work in a global context while validating local actions that align with Linxon’s mission.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Contribute to the definition, implementation, and execution of spend management and sourcing strategies for direct materials and services (local and global).
  • Support annual cost reduction, supplier quality, and performance targets; monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive negotiations with key suppliers and manage strategic supplier activities and vendor development, including ordering and follow-up.
  • Oversee contract management and negotiation; set targets, standards, and processes to ensure quality, delivery, and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and ethical standards in operations and negotiations.
  • Deliver and participate in training for compliance and development.
  • Maintain effective internal and external communication.
  • Standardize processes and implement routines per Group directives.
  • Share market insights on trends and competitor activities.
  • Manage risks and opportunities with supply chain partners.
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Min 10 years of experience in Procurement & Logistics for Substation T&D Projects and/or Transportation Electrification Projects (e.g., Metro/Monorail)
  • Extensive knowledge of procurement for major items and services (e.g., Transformers, Battery, Charger, UPS, Third Rail & Stringer system, Substation HV-Equipment, Aluminum tube, conductor, HVAC) with deep product and supply base knowledge
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a suitable technical/commercial discipline
  • Native German; Fluent English (negotiation level)
