System Engineer for Passenger Information Systems (f/m/d)

In this role, you apply system engineering to passenger information subsystems within trains, shaping how information is delivered to passengers. You will work with a cross-functional team to define, integrate, verify, and maintain subsystems, ensuring safe, reliable interfaces on train platforms. • Deliver subsystem documentation (RSAD, TPS, ICD)
• Define and implement functional, performance, and train-level requirements
• Integrate the subsystem into the train (mechanical and electrical)
• Define mechanical and electrical interfaces for the subsystem
• Verify the subsystem (train level) and conduct design reviews
• Perform change and configuration management at train level
• Assess impacts of design changes and conduct impact analysis
• Plan and monitor all activities related to the subsystem
• Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A engineers, interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers
• Provide inputs to engineering, sourcing, suppliers, or PUs

• System engineering mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lead meetings with internal teams and suppliers
• Curiosity and constructive spirit
• Very good technical understanding of complex networked systems
• Typically, 4+ years with BSc, or 2+ years with MSc/PhD
• Bachelor of Science degree (or higher)
