What you can expect

• Conception, development, design and dimensioning of systems/features (interaction of various assemblies and components), including e.g. software coordination, MMI user guidance as well as definition of processes and further routines such as cleaning
• Conception, development and design of assemblies and functional modules of fully automatic coffee machines from the initial idea through to series implementation
• Continuous improvement and optimization of assemblies, components and processes
• Collaboration within development teams (hardware and software) and all related departments in the field of professional coffee machines, as well as with suppliers and external service providers, including schedule tracking
• Performing functional analyses (mechanical, mechatronic, software processes, etc.)
• Performing risk assessments/analyses/evaluations on assemblies
• Performing failure analyses of mechanical and mechatronic systems
• Compilation and supervision of requirement specifications for systems and assemblies for (external) processing

What you need to succeed with us

• Completed degree in mechatronics, precision engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in the development/design of complex mechatronic products, including time and budget management
• Experience in the design and engineering of parts manufactured using a wide range of production processes, with high technical and/or visual requirements
• Experience in coordinating tasks within a team

Experience in 3D design, preferably with Solid Edge

Confident application of GPS (Geometrical Product Specification)
