The Impact You'll Make

As our Systems & Application Engineer based in Nordborg or in Neumünster , you will be at the forefront of helping customers design, optimize, and bring to life advanced mobile machines using Danfoss Power Solutions’ hydraulic, electrification, and control technologies . Your work directly influences machine performance, efficiency, and reliability in demanding off‑highway applications.

As part of our Central Application Team, you connect customer needs with technical solutions. You translate complex requirements into systems that work in the real world, strengthening long‑term partnerships and enabling our customers to succeed.

You will also contribute to shaping future applications by sharing market insights, supporting demo vehicles, and engaging customers during technology days at our Application Development Centre in Nordborg.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and specify system solutions using Danfoss mobile hydraulics, electrification, and control products to meet customer application needs.
  • Support customers throughout the pre‑sales and application phase , including system sizing, simulations, testing, and on‑site tuning.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and internal experts to lead customer projects and ensure clear technical communication.
  • Deliver technical presentations and training , including support for PLUS+1 software applications.
  • Contribute to innovation and knowledge sharing by supporting demo vehicles and customer technology days at the ADC in Nordborg.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or a closely related field - also young talents are welcome to apply!
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic, electric, and electronic control systems used in mobile applications .
  • Ability to communicate confidently with customers and internal stakeholders in English.
  • A structured, hands‑on way of working with curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Readiness to work on‑site and travel (ca. 30%) to customer and Danfoss locations as part of the role.
