Systems Engineer - Command and Control (Air)

Overview

In this role you will own the end-to-end design, integration, and deployment of a C2 system-of-systems for autonomous aircraft. You will collaborate with engineers, government stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver mission-critical performance under military standards. You’ll drive architecture and verification activities from concept through certification, shaping how militaries command autonomous assets. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role in a fast-evolving defence AI company with a culture of open debate and ownership.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Lead end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment
  • Define and manage system architecture to meet high-integrity, security, and mission-critical requirements
  • Drive integration, validation, and verification across hardware, software, and communications
  • Manage relationships with industry partners and suppliers for component selection and integration
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation (specs, ICDs, test plans)
  • Report progress, risks, and milestones to Chief Engineer and Programme Management
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Proven track record designing and developing aircraft systems with hands-on systems engineering and integration
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex technical information to stakeholders
  • Willingness to work on-site at Tussenhausen (Unterallgäu) 2-3 days per week
